Diane Elgin is a teacher and a new author. She desires for her books to allow the readers to learn different uplifting lessons about life. The characters will make you laugh and learn, and they will have fantastic personalities. Diane believes all people are created perfectly, but at same time are different from each other.
Diane graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a B.S. in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. She has been a teacher in private schools for fourteen and a half years. Currently, she teaches art with Homeschool Connected Community.(HSCC) and ESL online at VIPKIDS. She also teaches Sunday school, and volunteers and teaches Bible in the preschool classroom every Sunday.
Diane’s books are for early elementary students. In her book, she discusses theme of kindness, allowing the main characters to find their own way, through guidance from parents or from situations that are filled with morals and values.
Diane wants to share the importance of kindness , loving all people, and praising all of our uniqueness because God made us perfect, yet different.
Diane Elgin is a member of Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators’ (SCBWI) Christian Indie Publishing Association (CIPA), Maryland Writers Associations (MWA), and Capital Christian Writers Fellowship.(CCWF)
